Michelle's Training Philosophy

I have a passion for teaching in all forms. My clients often refer to me as "The Motivator". They feel it is great when I have many different ways to work one body part and they always leave feeling empowered. When I am with a client or teaching a class, my main focus is to turn as many of my clients and participants into self-sufficient exercisers as possible. I make this clear at the beginning of the relationship, and yet, those who become capable of doing independently what I have taught them continue to stay with me because they have set new goals and visions on a path they wish to achieve.

Over the past few years I have trained and coached many individuals, including young men & women right through to vibrant seniors that have been sedentary most of there lives. Although I have training in many areas my specific knowledge and passion is found in obesity and nutrition. I have first hand experience and have a vast understanding of what works and what doesn't. I offer several services and programs to help my clients reach their goals: conventional personal training, phone consulting, counseling, holistic integrating approach, body fat % test, blood pressure readings, resting heart rate readings, measurements, grocery shopping consulting, walking classes, fitness in the park, subsidized fitness (helping those on restricted incomes) Personal training financing, running groups and  fitness shopping.



Independent Training Services (I.T.S) is a private personal training studio designed to help you work towards your fitness goals.  By learning precisely what you need to know in order to get the most out of your work out. I.T.S will consider your personal goals and devise an exercise program that maximizes your time, and provides you with the results you are looking for. Michelle Takes the guess work out of wondering what fitness equipment is best to use. Michelle will meet with you in  a private studio or in the comfort of your own home to guide you through your new work out routines until you feel ready to do them solo.
